Marillo Doyle
Marillo, lived in the Bethel community, She was a soft spoken woman, she loved to laugh, she made the best cathead's around, she was a gracious hostess, She never said a bad word about anyone, all were welcome to her home, She raised seven children, on her own,by a lot of hard work and sacrifice, and this was in the days before electricity, or any modern conveniences. She lost one daughter, Pearl Rodriquez of Oakdale, in 1979. All of her children were very devoted to this beautiful woman, whose smile would light up a whole room. I remember when she was young she liked to sing to us grandkids, and hold us in her lap, and give us a lot of hugs and Love. Even when she was in her eighties, she loved to joke around and make people laugh, by being silly. Everyone called her mama or grandma, she was good to all. She would help any of her children at the drop of a hat if they needed her. She was very much loved by all, and she returned that love to all. She will be so greatly missed. We should all remember, that we are given to our relations and friends and family for a short time in comparison to eternity, some longer than others! All who knew her or were her relations, are thankful for these years, where the Great spirit put her in our lives. Her Heart was pure, I know she is smiling down on us, she is happy to be reunited with her daughter, sisters, brothers, her Daddy and Mama, cousins, grandchildren, and all her relations, who were there waiting for her to join them. Thank you Grandma, for saying "I am proud of you baby, and I Love you." You are so greatly missed. You were the "Queen of your community" You will always be the Queen in our hearts,
