Marie Lara

Marie Del Socorro Lara, of Azusa, passed away in Redlands, California on September 1st, 2013. She was born in Juchipila Mexico to Eliseo and Carmen Lara on May 19, 1930.
She was an Inspector for Rainbird for over 35 years. Marie was active in her church as a Eucharist Minister and was an avid gardener. She will be greatly missed by her children: Olga Fry (Ted) and Peter Ramirez; her grandchildren: Theresa Stoller (Eric) and David Fry (Jenny); her great grandchildren: Samantha and Caleb Fry; her siblings: Eliseo Lara (Patricia), Arcelia Lara and Carmela (Lara) Escamila. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A Visitation and Rosary will be held at the Redlands Church of Christ on Sunday September 8th from 5:00-8:00; A Funeral Mass will be held at St Frances of Rome Catholic Church in Azusa on Monday September 9th at 10:00 AM followed by a Graveside Service at 12:30 PM at Hillside Memorial Park in Redlands. In lieu of flowers please make donations in Maries' name to the American Heart Association.
