Margierine Wiggins

Funeral services for Mrs. Margierine C. Wiggins, of Wrightsville, will be held on Saturday, March 5, 2016, at 12 PM at the graveside in the Dudley Memorial Cemetery. Reverend James Jefferson will officiate. The family will receive friends at the Dudley Funeral Home from 11-11:45 AM on Saturday just prior to the service.

Mrs. Cannon, who passed on March 1, 2016 was born on July 10,1935, to the late Maxie Mae and and Isaiah Cannon in Cadwell, Georgia. She lived most of her adult life in Bridgeport, Connecticut, as a Healthcare worker until she retired and moved to Dublin. She enjoyed sewing and cooking.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Maxie Hooks, and by two brothers, Andrew Johnson and O.D. Cannon.

Mrs. Wiggins leaves to cherish her memories her husband, Clarence Wiggins, a son, Steven (Eadie) Wiggins of Greensboro North Carolin, two daughters, Patricia and Shirley Wiggins of Dublin, two sisters, Ruby (Ossie) Waters, Dublin and Mary Lee Carswell of Bidgeport, Connecticut, two brothers, Sam Cannon and Willie (Joyce) Hooks of Bridgeport, Connecticut, four grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends at 814 South Jefferson Street in Dublin.
