Funeral services for Ms. Marcie Hodges of Wrightsville, will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2015, at 12 PM at the Lovett Grove Community Baptist Church, 1359 Idywild Road in Wrightsville. Bishop Kendall Phillips will officiate. Interment will follow in the Community Missionary Baptist Church cemetery.

Ms. Hodges, who passed on February 14, 2015, was born on June 3, 1977, to Edward Hodges, Sr. and Betty J. Hodges. She was a member of St. Galilee Baptist Church. She attended Johnson County School. She was a stay-at-home mother. She enjoyed using her skills interior decorating and cooking for her boys.

Ms. Hodges was preceded in death by a daughter, Tykia Hodges and by her grandparents.

She is survived by five sons, Davoris Hodges, Tyke Hodges, Brian Rozier, Bryant Rozier, and Ryan Rozier; godson, Tykevious Wesley; goddaughter, Zirah Wadley, Wrightsville; a very loving companion, Brian Rozier, Sr., Dublin; parents, Henry Edward Hodges, Sr.; mother, Betty J. Hodges, Wrightsville; five sisters, Sheniece (Levon) Hodges, Vickie Arline, Wrightsville, Julia (Shannon) Wadley, Swainsboro, Alicia (Phillip) Whitley, Tennille, Reneda (Frank) Hodges, Wrightsville; two brothers, Henry E. Hodges, Jr., Benny (Shelby) Hodges, Wrightsville; uncle, W. H. Pinkston, Wrightsvile; two godsisters, Pamela Butler, Shakira Wiley, Wrightsville, one godbrother, Kendrick Norris, Wrightsville, and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles; godparents, Mary Foreman and Lamar Waters, Dublin; devoted friend, Shana Hubbard; devoted niece, Rogeria (Markus) Foots, Idaho; devoted great nephew, Amari Murray, and a host of friends including Carol Graddy, Lasagna Taylor, Lucy Cool, Gee, Nicky Price.

The family will receive friends at the home of her mother at 53 Lakeview Drive in Wrightsville.
