MarciaL. Blunk, 65 of Terre Haute, in formerly of Marshall,Il passed away at 2:55 pm Friday, Feb 24, 2012. She died after a long courageous fight with breast cancer at Union Hospital in Terre Haute. She was born on april 16th of 1946, in Indianapolis to Robert and Geneva(Wood) Blanton of Plainfield. She married Eugene Blunk Jan,17th 1970, he proceeded her in death on Feb 1, 2004. She was a retired Housekeeper for Super * Motels.She is survived by one daughter, Deanna Ray of Marshall and a son Dale Blunk of Terre Haute, @ granddaughters Makenzie and Morgan Ray of Marshall, 6 grandsons Russell and Robert Arnold, Heath and Holt Ray of Marshall, and Aiden and Nolan Blunk of Terre Haute several great-grandchildren and 7 sisters Kathleen Clem of Idaho, Jeanie Pemberton of Brownsburg In, Anita Broyles, Anne , Bonnie, and Patty Blanton of Plainfield,IN and Julia Arnold of Fillmore, IN, and one brother John Blanton of Plainfield, and several nieces and nephews.She is proceeded in death by her husband, Eugene, grandson Kale and her brother Robert.She was a member of the Nazarene Church in Marshall, She loved to sew and bake and spend time with her family. She was a strong supporter of Relay for Life. She loved talking to people and enjoyed antiques.Funeral services will be at 11 am CST Tuesday, Feb 28, 2012, at Pearce Funeral Home, 314 S. 6th St., in Marshall Il, with Pastor Judy Williams officiating. Visitation will be from 3 to 7 pm Monday and 7 am until service time Tuesday at the funeral home. For those so desiring, memorial contributions may be made to the Hux Cancer Center.
