Funeral services for Mrs. Mamie Lou Williams, "Vicki", of Dublin, will be held on Monday, October 24, 2016, at 2 PM at the Howard Chapel United Methodist Church, 508 South Washington Street in Dublin. Evangelist Joseph Bell will officiate. Interment will follow in the Dudley Memorial Cemetery.

Mrs. Williams, who passed on October 18, 2016, was born on December 31, 1949, to the late Ollie and Mary Lou Vickers. She was preceded in death by four brothers, Lonnie Vickers, Andre Vickers, Charlie Vickers and Hosie Vickers; one sister, Geraldine Vickers; mother-in-law, Eula Williams, and a brother-in-law, Charlie Knight, Jr.

On June 11, 2010, she married Horace T. Williams. Mrs. Williams spent most of her life in Dublin. She made an impact on those who knew and loved her.

Mrs. Williams leaves to cherish loving memories her beloved and devoted husband, Horace T. Williams; one sister, Hazel Vickers; one brother, Michael Hunt Vickers all of Dublin; stepdaughter, Nisika Williams; brother-in-law, Eddie (Ludella) Brown, all of Atlanta; sister-in-law, Christine (Milton) White, Dublin, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and sorrowing friends.

The family is receiving friends at 307 North Church Street Apartment, C2, in Dublin, 703 North Franklin Street in Dublin and Dudley Funeral Home on Sunday, October 23, 2016 from 6-7 PM.
