Funeral services for Ms. Maggie Lee Whitfield, 72, of Dublin, will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, November 17, 2018, at the Heaven’s Haven Baptist Church, 1613 Central Drive, in East Dublin. Karey Rivers will deliver the eulogy. Interment will follow in the Dudley Memorial Cemetery.

Ms. Whitfield was born on January 11, 1946, to the late Mr. Henry and Mrs. Essie Whitfield. She was an usher at Turning Point Church of God in Christ where she was a dedicated member for many years. She passed on Monday, November 12, 2018. She was preceded in death by Pearline White, Susie Brown, Emma Mae Jason, Loutrell Oliphant and by her brothers, James Whitfield, Larry Whitfield, William Randolph Whitfield, Eddie Lee Whitfield, Henry Whitfield.

She leaves to cherish her son, Royal Lee (Sonya) Whitfield of Dublin, three granddaughters, Tameeshia Coney of Atlanta, Naporche Coney of Dublin, and Odaijah of Atlanta, two great-grandchildren, Jeremy Coney of Dublin and Antaria Coney of Atlanta, sisters, Evelyn Whitfield, Lovie Mae Jackson, all of Dublin, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives who loved her very much.

The family is receiving friends at 502 Mimosa Drive in Dublin.
