Mother Maggie Hill Mack, the daughter of the late Elijah and Anna Floyd Hill, was born on November 1, 1912, in Wilkinson County, Georgia. She was the youngest of twelve children. She was reared by her father, as her mother passed when she was three years old. Mother Mack was united in holy matrimony to the late Bunion Mack, Sr., and to this union, five children were born, She was a faithful and dedicated member of the Millville Baptist Church, where she served as Mother of the church, and was a member of the choir for many years. Mother Mack was a true servant of God, a God fearing woman, and she exemplified Proverbs 31: she was a virtuous woman. Her favorite pastime was reading the Bible. Mother Mack read her Bible daily and she lived as outlined in God's word. She departed this life on Tuesday, September 26, 2017.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Lillie Mae Stuckey, her son, Ellison Mack, her siblings and many other relatives. God allowed Mother Mack to celebrate 104 years of life, and she was in good health for approximately 96 of those years. She loved the Lord, and she often shared with others that she asked God for a long life, and he granted her request.
