Funeral services for Mr. Magellan "Jello" Stanley, Jr., 64, of Dublin will be held on Saturday, May 26, 2012 at 3:00 PM in the C.D. Dudley Memorial Chapel at the Dudley Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery. Reverend Greg Washington will officiate. Mr. Stanley, who passed away on May 19, 2012, was born February 11, 1948 in Dublin. He worked at Jacksons Gas Station and Jet Food Store. He joined Millville Church at a young age. Mr. Stanley leaves to cherish his memories eleven children, Carla Stanley, Dublin, Teresa Lanier, Stephanie Lanier of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Dutchess Brown of East Dublin, Freda (Joel) Denson, Marcus (Kachina) Stanley, Christopher Williams, Angelica Stanley, Cantrell Stanley, Magellan Stanley, III, Vanessa Ashley, all of Dublin, two sisters, Betty Jean Stanley of Miami, Florida and Ammie Watkins of Dublin, seventeen grandchildren, two great-great-grandchidlren, three nieces, three nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
