Mable Johnson

Mable Lee Johnson, of Highland, CA, was born on June 14, 1940 in Bunkie, Louisiana to Gertrude and Solomon Johnson and passed away on February 9, 2013 in San Bernardino, California. Mable received her Bachelor’s degree from Alcorm A&M in Mississippi and served her country from 1961 – 1963. She went on to work at the Pentagon for over 20 years. She is survived by her only son Gerald Lamar Evans of Georgia; her siblings Betty Joyce Johnson of Long Beach, Don Roy Johnson of Maryland, and Cheri Mae Christensen of Highland. She was pre-deceased by her parents; siblings: Gerard Johnson, Solomon Johnson Jr. and Dean Edward Johnson. A visitation will be held at the Redlands Church of Christ in Redlands on Wednesday February 20th from 9:30-10:30, followed by a funeral service at 10:30.
