Lucile White

Funeral services for Mrs. Lucile B. White, of Montrose, will be held on Saturday, February 13, 2016, at 1 PM at the Greater Union Grove Church Of God In Christ, 4780 Highway 80 West in Montrose. Bishop Cleveland Blash will officiate. Interment will follow in the Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. White, who departed this earthly life on Friday, February 5, 2016, was born on January 12, 1942 in Laurens County, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Deacon Walter B. Blash and the late Mrs. Ethel Lee Blash.
She was born into the Union Grove Church of God In Christ in Montrose, Georgia, where she remained a faithful member until her health declined.

Mother White received her education from the public schools of Laurens County, graduating from Millville High School in 1960. In 1960, she joined in holy matrimony to Mr. Leonard White. To this union, four children were born. Later Mother White was blessed with two loving sons. She retired from the Laurens County School System as a food service technician.

Mother Lucile White leaves to cherish her memory six children, Linda Faye (Frank) Jones, Tony Lorenzo (Shree) Braziel of Montrose, Walter Cecil (Toleda) White of Douglasville, Debra White (Lawrence) Minor of Evans, Thomas Christopher White of Irwinton, Raymond Bernard (Geneva) Braziel of Milledgeville,; grandchildren, Justin Jones, East Dublin, KeAndrea Pauldo, Atlanta, Walter, Taylor and Braxton White, Douglasville, Christopher Williams, Shandria Johnson, Dublin, Artrail Braziel, Milledgeville, Tyrell Jones, Seveirville, Tennessee, Evan Minor, Evans, Alesia Braziel, Montrose, six great grandchildren, Jorden Jones, Jakobi Pauldo, Nadian Jones, Damien Jones, Jaiden Williams of Dublin, Keilani Johnson, Atlanta, four sisters-in-law, Sally Eva Blash, Ethel Mae Mack, Montrose, Letha Russell, Jerliene Blanton, Toledo, Ohio; one brother-in-law, Corbitt (Ann) White, Dublin; a devoted lifelong friend, Mr. Willie Stanley and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, friends and church members.

The family will receive friends at 2362 The Rock Road in Montrose and at the Dudley Funeral Home on Friday, 6-7 pm.
