Louise Teague YORK Louise Brakefield Teague, 77, of York passed away Thursday, October 11, 2012, at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill. The funeral will be on Saturday October 13, 2012 at 2pm at Bratton Funeral Home in York, with Pastor Mike Goodwin officiating. Burial will be at Lakeview Memory Gardens. A native of York, Louise was a daughter of the late Clarence Walker and Nora Rochester Brakefield. She was the widow of Roby J Teague. In January, 1956, Roby and Louise were married. They continued working together as husband and wife. In May 1960, they bought property and a house and moved to the country. This house located off Hwy 321 in York, served as their home for over 40 years. Roby and Louise were always self-employed in the restaurant business and later in the country market business until Roby's retirement in 1994. Roby and Louise had 5 children together. She is survived by 3 daughters Beadie Hayslett (Michael) of Rock Hill, Vicki Martin (Donald) of York, Linda Pack of York, and son Dewey Teague of Charlotte, NC, and 2 brothers Howard Brakefield and Charles Brakefield both of York, 12 grandchildren and 10 greatgrandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter Janice Teague. Visitation will be held at Bratton Funeral Home on Saturday October 13, 2013 from 1-2 pm.
