The celebration of life for Mrs. Louise Parrott Hunt will be held on Wednesday, February 8, 2012, at 1:00 PM at the Washington Street Presbyterian Church, 975 South Washington Street, Dublin, Burial will follow in the Parrott Family Cemetery. Mrs. Hunt passed away on Friday, February 3, 2012. She was born to the late George Parrott and Rebecca Lee Parrott in Laurens County, Georgia on December 17, 1918. As a child, she attended Laurens County public schools and grew up as a member of Burches Gift Baptist Church where she developed a strong lifetime commitment to Christ. As a young adult, she moved to Buffalo, New York. Mrs. Hunt was married to Arthur Hunt, who preceded her in death. After fifty years in New York, she returned to her native Georgia to be near her family and friends. She leaves to cherish her life, three sisters, Verline Copenny of Dublin and McDonough, Susie Easley of Hazlehurst, Lois Canty of Fort Valley, and one brother, Elven (Willa) Parrott of Buffalo, New York. She is also survived by a sister-in-law, Mrs. Irene Belcher, a devoted friend, Josephine Jones and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Services by Dudley Funeral Home of Dublin
