Funeral services for Mrs. Lou Selma Brown Scrutchins, of Dublin, will be held at 12 PM on Saturday, March 10, 2018, at the Green Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 2418 US Highway 441 South in Dublin. Reverend Doctor Willie Edmond will deliver the eulogy. Interment will follow in the Dudley Memorial Cemetery.

Mrs. Lou Selma Brown Scrutchins was born on April 5, 1949, in Dublin, Georgia to the late Henry Brown and Molly Mae Stanley. She was a technician at Parker Aerospace in Dublin. She was preceded in death by her husband, Reverend Felton S. Scrutchins, Sr., brothers, Joe N. Brown, and Henry Walker, Jr. Mrs. Scrutchins passed away on Saturday, March 3, 2018.

She leaves to cherish her memories her children, Joanna Fitzpatrick of Douglasville, Felicia Pierce of Dublin, Dawn Scrutchins of Douglasville, stepdaughters, Marilyn O'Neal of Miami, Florida, and Cheryl (Jeff) Irvin of Dublin, Felton S. (Gwendolyn) Scrutchins, Jr., of Tallapoosa, Wiley E. (Cheryl) Scrutchins of Dublin, Joseph S. Scrutchins of Dublin, a brother, Molester "Rocky" Brown of Dublin, sisters, Calen (Freddie) Pooler of Dublin, Johnnie Mae Pearson of Dublin, Pauline (Alvin) Thomas of Milledgeville, sister-in-law, Patricia Brown of Dublin sixteen grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family is receiving friends at 712 Linwood Drive, Dublin, and at the Dudley Funeral Home on Friday, March 9, 2018, 6-7 PM.
