Funeral services for Mr. Lorenzo Reeze, 44, of Dublin, will be held at 1 PM on Friday, December 22, 2017, at the Greater New Friendship Baptist Church, 3265 Georgia Hwy 19 South, Dublin. Bishop Harrison Jones will deliver the eulogy. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Mr. Lorenzo Reeze was born on November 26, 1973, to Helen Reeze Jones and Benjamin (Laura) Hester, Jr., in Augusta, Georgia. Mr. Reeze attended school at West Laurens High in Dublin. He worked with the Department of Transportation in Denver, Colorado. He departed this life on Thursday, December 14, 2017.

Mr. Reeze was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Mr. Charlie and Mrs. Bessie L. Hurst Reed, paternal grandparents, Mr. Benjamin and Mrs. Quilla M. Hester, Sr., aunts, Jacqueline Grimes, Willa Smith, Justine Coney, and Geraldine Pierce, and by an uncle, Charlie Reed, Jr.

He leaves to cherish his loving memories to his mother, Helen Reeze Jones and his father, Benjamin (Laura) Hester, Jr., of Dublin, a devoted companion, Jada Wright of Dublin, children, Betty and Erica Mincey of Dublin, Lorenzo and Katrina Allen of Houston, Texas; a devoted stepson, Christopher (Wendi) Wright of Denver, Colorado, NaTasha, Quinton and LaTeisha Wright of Dublin; grandson, Amar’e Mincey of Dublin, sisters, Thessalonica Jones, Shay Reid, Bridgett B. Kimberly and Trevia Hester, Yolanda Wells, and LaTonya (T. K.) Jackson of Dublin, brothers, Tyrondy and Maurice Jones, Benjamin L. and Nicko A. Hester, Keith Reed and Shawn Reid of Dublin, aunts, Christine (Alvin) Smith of New Jersey, Carmenletia (Lamont) Reed, Bernice Boston and Angenell (Calvin) McCloud of Dublin, Louwill Smith of Patterson, New Jersey; uncle, Jimmy (Catherine) Reed of Savannah, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
