Funeral service for 93 year old Mrs. Lola Washington of Clarksville, Texas who went to be with her Lord July 27, 2015 at her residence in Clarksville, TX will be Friday, July 31, 2015 @ 11:00 a.m. at St. James Baptist Church, Clarksville, TX. With Rev. Wayne Rosser officiating. Interment: Hebron Cemetery, Clarksville, TX

Mrs. Lola Washington was born January 31, 1922 in Clarksville, Texas to Ballard and Mildred Mickens Johnson. She departed this life July 27, 2015.

She married the late Mr. Jake Washington and to this union eight children were born.

Mrs. Washington was a member of the Macedonia Syloam Baptist Church where she was the “Mother of the Church”. She collected dolls and enjoyed sewing, drawing, coloring and garage selling. She was the “BEST MOM” and loved spending time with family and friends.
