Lois Marie Ferrell, 78, of Cape Fair Missouri, went to be with her Lord and Savior August 22, 2012 after a valiant battle with cancer.The graveside service will be held at Maple Park Cemetery in Aurora, Missouri August 25 at 11 am. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Williams Funeral Home, Marionville, Missouri.Lois was born in Aurora, Missouri on November 3, 1933, to Loyd (Doc) and Connie Forrester; she resided there with 14 other brothers and sisters until she was married.Lois was married to Ronald Ferrell on October 21, 1951; they married for 60 years.Lois was a lifelong homemaker raising 5 children in the home; she enjoyed gardening, reading, fishing, singing in the choir at church and spending time with her family. She was also actively involved with First Baptist Church of Cape Fair and Cape Fair Homemaker and Cape Fair Seniors Associations. She helped a multiple children’s charities including the Make-A-Wish foundation, Children’s Miracle Network, and Ronald McDonald House Charities.Lois is survived by her four children Ronald Ferrell of Alpharetta GA, Dorothy Forte of Cape Fair MO, Ellen Ferrell of Excelsior Springs MO, Ray Ferrell of Cape Fair MO, nine grandchildren and one great-grandson and a multitude of other family and friends.Lois is preceded in death by her husband Ronald Ferrell, and daughter Sandy Devling.In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Ozarks, in the name of her great-grandson, Jason Brewer II.
