Funeral services for Mrs. Lisa Karen Moorman, of Marietta, Georgia, will be held on Saturday, September 28, 2019, at 2 PM, at the Community Missionary Baptist Church, 627 James Grove Church Road in Wrightsville. Reverend Jerry Walden will deliver the eulogy. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Moorman was born on August 31, 1962, to the late Lucion, Sr., and Allene Horne in Dublin. She joined Ranger Grove Church of God In Christ at an early age. Later in life she joined Gospel Life Community Church in Marietta where she served faithfully and attended for twenty-one years. In November of 1987, she married Mr. Milton Moorman. She departed this life on Tuesday, September 24, 2019.

Mrs. Moorman was preceded in death by one son, Milton M. Moorman, Jr.; brothers, Lucion Horne, Jr., John Lee Horne, Larry Horne, Ronnie Horne; and by one sister, Hazel Sue Wright.

Mrs. Moorman is survived by her husband, Milton Moorman of Marietta; sons, Darrian M. (Denise) Moorman, Cummings, Travaris M. Moorman, Marietta; daughter, Paris S. Moorman, Athens; grandchildren, Daylin M. Moorman, Dallas Moorman, Dionne P. Moorman all of Cummings; five sisters, Merlyn (George) Swint, Thelma (Hardrick) Robinson, Robin Horne all of Wrightsville, Sharon (Darrell) Graham, Terrell Horne of Miami and a host nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

The family is receiving friends at 1520 Goins Road in Wrightsville, and at the Dudley Funeral Home on Friday, September 27, 7-8 PM.
