Funeral services for Ms. Linda “Lint” Rozier, of Dublin, will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, March 11, 2017, at the New Bible Believers Baptist Church, 204 Hillcrest Drive in Dublin. Reverend Benny Brantley, Sr., will officiate. Interment will follow in the Stanley Cemetery.

Ms. Rozier was born on January 28, 1960, to the late Mr. Willie Lee and the late Mrs. Mittie Rozier, Sr., in Dublin. She received her early education at West Laurens High School. She joined Woodard Grove Baptist Church at an early age and later became a devoted member of the New Bible Believers Baptist Church. She worked many years as a hostess and housekeeper in Dublin and in Fitzgerald. She also took up sewing and seamstress work as a hobby. She was a bona fide “Diva” who never wore the same thing twice as she made her own clothes and matching accessories. She prided herself on teaching the value of hard work, honesty, patience, and the art of giving to others to her son, nieces, nephews, and god-children. She transitioned from her earthly vessel to her heavenly vessel on March 6, 2017 after an extended illness.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Willow Queen McRae, and by a brother, Fender “Jake” Rozier. Ms. Rozier leaves to carry on her memories a son, Yuri (Tameka) Rozier, and her beloved granddaughter, “Fatty Patty” Miriam Guyton, four brothers, Willie (Lois) Rozier, Jr., Prentice (Dorothy) Rozier, James (Veta) Rozier, and Leonard Rozier, all of Dublin, four sisters, Bernestine Rozier, Dublin, Lizzie Rozier, West Palm Beach, Florida, Carrie Henderson, Cartersville, and Sasha Rozier, Milledgeville, god-grandson, Kentrell Rogers, Jr., a step-granddaughter, Mykala Hunter, and a host of nieces, nephews, devoted friends and cousins.

The family is receiving friends at 105 Camelot Drive in Dublin.
