Funeral Announcement – GUYTON, Lillie

Funeral Services for Mrs. Lillie Mae Guyton, will be held on Monday, July 22, 2019, at 11 AM at the St. Luke Baptist Church, 620 East Main Street, Dexter. Reverend Jamie Pittman will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery

Mrs. Guyton was born April 4, 1922 to the late Henry and Pearl Smith. She passed away on July 17, 2019 at the age of 97. She joined Mt. Tilla Baptist Church at an early age. Mrs. Guyton was joined in holy matrimony to Charlie Guyton on September 16, 1944. She was a member of Beulah Hill Baptist Church and finally St. Luke Baptist Church.

Mrs. Guyton was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Guyton, six sisters, six brothers, and one son, Jack Jones. She leaves to mourn her passing, one daughter, Ann (Frankie) Freeman of Dexter; two sons, Reginald Hall and Troy (Teresa) Hicks all of Dexter; one sister, Corraine Gervin of Camilla; one brother, John R. (Margaret) Smith of Dudley; six grandchildren, Regina Carswell of Dexter, Jimmy Carswell of Oklahoma, Kim (Alex) Holland of Caldwell, Ricky (Katrina) Carswell of East Dublin, Sean Jones of Atlanta, Charles Jones of Dudley; and a host of great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

The family will receive friends at 407 Mills Street, Dexter.
