Funeral services for Mr. Levi Rozier, of Dublin, will be held on Sunday, February 5, 2017, at 2 PM at the Living Faith Baptist Church, 1333 Bailey Lane in Dublin. Overseer E. Neal Dixon will officiate. Interment will follow in the Stanley Cemetery.

Mr. Rozier, who passed on February 2, 2017, was born on September 17, 1940, in Laurens County, Georgia to the late Levi and Amanda Lowther.

He received his formal education from the Laurens County Schools. He was employed for many years at Kimball's Studios where he served at many weddings, schools and other events as a professional photographer. He was later employed at the Courier Herald prior to retiring.

He joined the Springhill Missionary Baptist Church at an early age and occassionally enjoyed attending Living Faith Baptist Church. He was a kind-hearted, hardworking person and enjoyed gardening and sharing vegetables with family and friends.

Mr. Rozier leaves to cherish his memory a devoted wife, Juanita S. Rozier, daughter, Lavetta Rhymes, son, Sheldon Rozier, sister, Doretha Mason, Dublin, brother, James (Ann) Lowther, Buffalo, New York, brothers-in-law, Herchell (Corine) Rozier, Dublin, Roger Rozier, New Jersey, Robert Fryer and Tommie Moss, Hazlehurst, Walter Johnson, Augusta, Carl Howard, Dublin, sisters-in-law, Lillie M. Lowther, Rosie Mae Jones, Dublin, Willena Moss and Annie Mae Fryer, Hazlehurst, Rosie Paulk, Baxley, Nina Johnson, Augusta, Josephine Howard, Dublin, Lena Smith, Shirley Smith, Mattie Miley and Charlotte Peterson, Detroit, Michigan and a host of devoted nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The family is receiving friends from 2-4 PM on Saturday at the Mount Calvary Baptist Church, 27 Girtman Street in Hazlehurst.
