Funeral services for Mr. Lester Wimbley, 59, of Dublin, Georgia, will be heid on Monday, August 20, 2018, at 11 AM at the Georgia Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 4574 Old Savannah Rd, Tennille, Georgia. Pastor Roy Grissom will deliver the eulogy. Interment will follow in the Smith Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Tennille.

Mr. Wimbley was born on December 19, 1958. He was a graduate of the Georgia School for the Deaf and he retired from the Internal Revenue Service. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mazell Sherman Wimbley. He passed away on August 15, 2018.

Mr. Wimbley is survived by his father, Roger Wimbley, Sr., two brothers, Roger (Carol) Wimbley, Jr., Terry Lee Wimbley, and a sister, Gloria Elaine Wimbley, all of Wrightsville, four nieces, Latashia (Daren) Wimbley-Peed of Dublin, Ty'brianna Mack, Sherlonda Wimbley, Cassandra Wimbley, all of Wrightsville, a nephew, Roderick Wimbley of Sandersville, and a host of great nephews, great nieces, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

The family is receiving friends at 703 Cardinal Drive in Dublin.
