Funeral Service for 68 year old, Mr. Less Mims of Avery, Texas who went to be with his Lord October 26, 2015 will be Saturday, October 31, 2015 1:00 p.m. at Citizens Funeral Home Chapel, 500 E. Church Street, Clarksville, Texas with Rev. Joe Liggins officiating. Interment: English Cemetery, Avery, Texas.

Mr. Less Mims was born March 8, 1947 to the late Moran and Mary Mims in Clarksville, Texas. Less was named after his grandfather, Less Wilson. He grew up in the English community where he attended public schools. He enlisted in the United States Navy and served for four years; also serving in Viet Nam War. After returning home from the navy he started work at Red River Army Depot, Texarkana, TX before moving to Long Beach Ca for a while then returning to Texas where he resided until his death.

Less was a friendly and outgoing person, never met a stranger. He will be truly missed. He was preceded in death by his parents and five brothers.

He leaves to cherish his memories:
Two daughters: Chundra Mims and Chaunta Land both of Ontario, CA
One son: Gary Beal of Grand Prairie, TX
Four brothers and three sisters. Host of other family and friends.
