Leslie Thomas

Funeral services for Mr. Leslie Thomas of Dublin, will be held on Saturday, April 28, 2018, at 1 PM at the Rice Hill Baptist Church, 2706 Moore Station Road in Dublin. Bishop Otha Stanley will preside, and Reverend Abraham Crockett will deliver the eulogy. Interment will follow in the Moore Station Cemetery.

Mr. Thomas was born on April 30, 1961, in Laurens County to the Reverend Theodore Thomas, and Hattie Mae Thomas. He graduated from West Laurens High School in the Class of 1980, and was employed at Forstmann, Inc. and at Best Buy, Inc. He was known for bringing laughter and joy to everyone who came around, for always denying himself, and for helping and giving to others. He was also preceded in death by his sisters, Deborah Gail Thomas, Cynthia Lynn Wright, a brother, Theodore Thomas, Jr., a nephew, Roosevelt White Jr., one grandson, Tawaski Carswell, Jr., and a brother-in-law, John Lee Wright. Mr. Thomas passed away on April 23, 2018.

He leaves to cherish his precious memories three daughters, April Thomas (Tawaski Carswell), Zondra Thomas, and Leslie Carrie Thomas (Andre Blue), grandchildren, Cameron Lindsey, Zaleria Pittman, Zoey Thomas, all of Dublin, his mother, Hattie Mae Thomas, a brother, Edwin Keith Thomas, sisters, Colleen (Roosevelt) White, Paula (Anthony) Wesley, both of Dublin, uncles, Samuel (Cora) Carr, Harry Carr, Earnest Charles, all of Dublin, Minister Carnell (Linda Gail) Carr of Griffin, aunts, Margie (Moses) Fullwood, Geneva Carr, both of Miami, Florida, Shirley O'Neal, Myrtice (James) Cummings of Dublin, Eva Dean (Frank) Polite of Hinesville, two long-time close friends, Danny Wiggins, and Lindsey O'Neal, and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

The family is receiving friends at 874 Shamrock Court in Dublin.
