Funeral services for Mr. Leroy "Buddy” Josey, of Dublin, will be held at 2 PM on Sunday June, 22, 2014, at the Turkey Creek Missionary Baptist Church at 828 Scotland Road in Dublin. Frederick C. Williams, D.D., will officiate. Burial will follow in Reedy Springs Church cemetery.

Mr Josey, son of the late Henry Josey and the late Lillie Mae Fullwood, was born on March 12, 1942 in Laurens County. He departed this life on June 17, 2014.

He attended Mary Fleming School. He pursued a career as a truck driver for 30 plus years. Brother Josey was a member of Turkey Creek Missionary Baptist Church where he served as an usher and sang in the Male Choir. Brother Josey married Nina Josey on June 29, 1990.

He leaves behind to mourn three children, Alfred Josey, Yolanda (Tony) Guyton, and Royce (Kimberly) Josey; two stepchildren, Loria (Cardale) Gibbons and Christopher (Sanchez) Thomas, seventeen grandchildren, three great grandchildren. Brother Josey leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family will receive friends at 701 Southern Pines Road in Dublin.
