Leona Clements

Leona (Lee) Clements, 86, passed from this life on Thursday afternoon, October 4th 2018 with her family and loved ones by her side.
She was born in Springdale, AR on October 5th 1931 to Mae and O.F. Justice. Lee and her family moved to California when she was a young girl. She attended Woodlake High School, where she was a Majorette for the Marching Band and was known to have a smile that could light up a room.
She worked as a medical administrator for many years before changing careers to work in the catering and convention department of the newly built Holiday Inn. She loved to collect crystal and Precious Moment figurines. Lee’s artistic skills included working in ceramics, creating beautiful porcelain dolls and the clothes for them. She also enjoyed scrapbooking, capturing memories for each of her grandchildren to treasure.
On March 27th 2018 she celebrated 58 years of marriage to Harold Clements. She is survived by her loving husband and three children; Jacque (Bill), Steve (Sherri), and Kevin, as well as 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
A viewing will be held at Salser & Dillard Funeral Home on Tuesday October 9th from 4-7pm. The family will hold a private funeral the following morning. A Celebration of Lee’s Life will be held at the Visalia Veterans Center at 1:00pm on Wednesday 10 October. Friends and family are all invited to come together and share in the joyous memories Lee brought to our lives.
