Funeral services for Ms. Lena Mae Wright, of East Dublin, will be held on Saturday, October 28, 2017, at 2 PM at the Holly Spring Baptist Church, 705 Buckeye Road, East Dublin. Reverend Joe Moore, Sr., will deliver the eulogy. Interment will follow in the Wright Family Cemetery, in East Dublin.

Ms. Lena Mae Wright was born on September 13, 1947, to the late Ella Retha Mincey Wright. She attended Oconee High School in Dublin and was employed by the Forstmann Company for over thirty years. She was a very outgoing and giving person; her favorite love was cooking for her family. Ms. Wright passed away on Monday, October 23, 2017. She was also preceded in death by her grandparents, Della Hines, Lucy Hines,and Lucy Wright, a daughter, Catherine Veronica Wright, a grandson, Tavaris A. Carter, a sister, Odessa Moss, a brother, Sidney Wright Jr., and a brother-in-law, Daniel Burley.

She leaves to cherish her memory her father, Sidney "Dock" Wright, Sr., of East Dublin, daughters, Jaquelyn (Samuel) Wright, Patricia (Eric) Horne of East Dublin, sons, Jeffery (Tanya) Wright of Dublin, Joseph (Rolanda) Wright of East Dublin, sisters, Shirley Burley, and Jennifer Moss of East Dublin, brothers, William (Carolyn) Wright, and Larry Butler of Dublin, a devoted friend, Eloise Bell, devoted cousins, Robert (Buddy) Mincey, and Arthur Wright of Dublin, and Eddie Wright of Jacksonville, Florida, ten grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, three godchildren, and a host of other nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

The family is receiving friends at 211 Emily Drive inEast Dublin.
