Lehman Jordan

Funeral services for Mr. Lehman Lee Jordan, of Wrightsville, Georgia, will be held on Saturday, May 20,2017, at 1 PM at the Ranger Grove Church of God in Christ, Ranger Grove Church Road, Wrightsville. Superintendent Ira Edwards, Sr., will officiate. Interment will follow in the Westview Cemetery in Wrightsville.

Mr. Jordan was born on April 3, 1953, in Soperton, to the late Mr. and Mrs. Roy Jordan, Sr. He attended Treutlen Elementary and High School and graduated in 1971. He joined the First Baptist Church of Soperton at an early age and later joined and attended the Ranger Grove Church of God in Christ. He met the love of his life, Gladys Graddy on April 29, 1979. Mr. Jordan, better known as "Big Red", had a favorite saying, "holla at me".

He leaves to mourn his memory a faithful and devoted wife, Mrs. Gladys Moore Jordan, a son , Andrew Graddy, five sisters, Rosa (Jimmie) Love, , Carolyn Couch of Soperton,, Justine Thomas of Dublin, Lannie Jordan of East Dublin, and Sheena Jordan of Douglasville, one brother, Loran Jordan of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, five sisters-in-law, Diane Graddy of East Dublin, Grace (Dave) Moye, Mary Ann Dixon, Julian Ann Graddy of East Dublin, Lori Ann Graddy, Curtis (Cynthia) Graddy, Mazell Murray, and Willie (Annie) Graddy, all of Wrightsville, three devoted friends, Willie Lindsey, Taylor (Joseph) Bud Bridges, Bruce Hudson, and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

The family is receiving friends at 6633 East College Street, Wrightsville.
