Funeral services for Mrs. Lawrence Wells, of McIntyre, will be held on Saturday, November 11, 2017, at 1 pm at the Williams Chapel Baptist Church, 1142 Highway 29 South in East Dublin. Reverend Eddie Hixon will deliver the eulogy. Interment will follow in the Kurtz Cemetery.
Mr. Lawrence Wells, a native of Laurens County, passed away on Sunday. November 5, 2017.
Mr. Wells was the son of the late Mattie Rozier and Lawyer Wells. He was born in Laurens County, Georgia. He was preceded in death by O.D. Brown, Annie Mae Rozier, Birdie Rozier and Shule Wells. He was a member of Laurens Hill Baptist Church.
Mr. Wells leaves to mourn five sisters, Gloria and Louis Figueroa, Elizabeth Johnny, MaryAnn Bloodworth, Julia Mae Robinson, Ella Mae Wells Ashley; four brothers, Rufus Wells, Lawson Wells, Milton Wells, and Jack Rozier; uncle, Luther Howard; aunt, Hennie Howard, and by a host of nieces, nephews, and his extended family with love and appreciation, David and Janice Hill, Mike Shy, Tracy Flemming, Regina Smith, Peggy Carswell, Debra Houston, Paula Boyd, Lashay Williams and Seigee Whipple and other relatives and friends.
The family is receiving friends at 546 Macon Road in McIntyre.
