There will be a Private Service for Mr. Larry Hobbs of Paris, TX, formerly of Clarksville, Texas, who went to be with his Lord on January 9, 2022. Services will be Saturday January 22, at 2:00 p.m. at Citizens Funeral Home Chapel with Minister Terry Hobbs eulogist under the direction of Citizens Funeral Home, 500 E. Church St, Clarksville, TX. Public Viewing will be Friday, January 21, 2022 at Citizens Funeral Home Chapel, 500 E. Church St., Clarksville, TX from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm.

Mr. Larry Hobbs was born to Leon and Elgerine Dickson Hobbs on May 26, 1953 in Clarksville, Texas. Larry accepted and believed and trusted in God from an early age and it reflected in his love for his family. He was a longtime fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers. He was a professional painter who loved to critique his own work as he strived for perfection.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Leon and Elgerine Hobbs and brother, Kenneth Hobbs, but leaves behind a beautiful family to celebrate his memory:

His brothers: Leon (Sandra) Hobbs, Jr. Gary (Janice) Hobbs, George Hobbs, Reginald Hobbs, Ronnie (Annette) Hobbs, Lonnie (Pennye) Hobbs, Donald (Debra) Hobbs, Edward (Christine) Hobbs, Terry (Kochita) Hobbs and Leander Williams;
His sisters: Mary (Willie) Biggers, Brenda (Paul) Seymore, Kathy (Ray) Hinton, Tessie Hobbs, Fannie (Rodney) Slaughter, Sharon Turner, and Lakeyisha Williams.
