L. C. Rozier

Funeral services for Mr. L. C. Rozier, of Dublin, Georgia, will be held on Saturday, June 30, 2018, at 1 PM at the Hillbridge Road Church of Christ, 433 Hillbridge Road, Dublin. Brother Earnest Simmons will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

He worked many years at Jim Hammock Pontiac-Brick and at the Dudley Funeral Home. He was known as a politician, a salesman, a mechanic, a handyman, and a funeral assistant. His careers and volunteer work allowed him to meet many people. He passed away on June 25, 2018.
Mr. Rozier was born to the late Nellie Mae Atkins and Otis Rozier preceding him in death. Others preceding him in transition included his siblings, Ulysses Kellam, Johnnie Lee Williams, Mattie Brown, Retha Mae Atkins, Ollie Robinson Burney, and Ossie Mae Curtis.

Left to cherish his memories are his wife, Shirley Rozier, his children; Shirley (Willie) Carr, Eddie (Veatrice) Rozier, Dorothy (Mark) Charleston, Brenda (Jeffery) Carswell, Terry (Joyce) Williams, Vickie (Jarvis) Washington, Tammie L. Blue, Robert (Angela) Outlaw, Kemo (Letitia) Pauldo, Sr., Connie Johnson, and Marquaja Thompkins, all of Dublin, Jerry (Penny) Outlaw of Wrightsville; Jeffery (Yolanda) Mizell, of Eastman, Stacey (Terae) Mizell of Atlanta; and Tanzaa Mizell (John) of Florida: two sisters, Donnie Mae Smith and Geraldine Floyd of Dublin, one brother, J.C.(Charlene) Kellam of Salisbury, N.C.; 41 grandchildren, 56 great grandchildren, and 10 great-great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.

The family is receiving friends at 1404 Academy Avenue, Dubln.
