Kerry Demaree

Kerry Haines Demaree of Malden departed this life on Saturday, October 6, 2012, at Golden Living Center in Malden after a battle with cancer. Kerry was born August 27, 1952, at Kennett Memorial Hospital to Wade and Carol Haines Demaree. He graduated from Malden High School with the Class of 1970 and from Southeast Missouri State University in 1974 with a B.S. in Agri-Business. After graduation, he managed several grain elevators in and around Missouri for many years and later retired from Federal Mogul. He was united in marriage with Judy Boyd of Campbell on March 20, 1987, and their union was blessed with a daughter, Lindsay. Both survive, as does step-son Josh Patterson. He is also survived by his mother, Carol Demaree of Malden along with brother and fiancée, Dennis Demaree and Sandi Bailey Cox of Dallas, TX sister and brother-in-law Nancy and Mark Halford of Risco and brother and sister-in-law Jim and Elvia Demaree of Bentonville, AR. and nephews and nieces: Kristofer, Wesley and Jacob Demaree of Sugarland, TX Bryan Halford of Little Rock, AR Andrew and wife, Rushaye Halford and children Kipton and Charli of Malden and Katie Halford of Risco and Natalie, Zack and Adele Demaree of Bentonville, AR. Also mourning his loss are many cousins and a multitude of friends. His father and grandparents preceeded him in death. A memorial service will be held Saturday, Oct. 13, 2012, at 11 a.m. at the Presbyterian Church in Malden. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society, the Missouri Department of Mental Health or the Malden Presbyterian Church.
