Kenneth Ray Smith was born May 14, 1948 in Clarksville, Texas to Vada and Louie Smith. He graduated Cheatham High School in 1966 and went on to Texas Southern University and pledged Alpha Phi Omega Fraternity Inc. He was a member of the Zion Traveler Baptist Church, where he served as a Deacon until his health began to fail.
Kenneth met and married Natalie Black in 1987, and to this union two children were born, Ashlee and Sydney Smith. Kenneth and Natalie were married over 30 years and in the later parts of their life enjoyed the company of their precious granddaughter, Taylor. Kenneth also has two other sons, Kenneth Pitts and Justin Hunter, which he loved dearly.
Throughout his life he worked as a barber and retired from Tysons Foods in Brokenbow, Oklahoma after many years of service. He enjoyed sitting outside with friends, watching sports, and spending time with family.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his wife, parents, and one sister, Imogene Bowers.
The many memories made will be cherished by his children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other extended family and loved ones.
