Katheryn Jean Allen, age 73, passed away Wednesday, May 4, 2011, at her home. She was born January 15, 1938, at Bonnieville, Ky. to the late Jesse and Mary Elizabeth Gonterman Hornback. A homemaker and a member of Farmdale Baptist Church, Louisville, Ky. Also preceding her in death are her husband George M. Allen, daughter Marla Sharon Hornback, infant brothers and sisters: Delmer Lewis Hornback, and Dorothy Hornback. Surviving are her sons Steven Lee Hornback of Haileyville, AL, Jeffrey Riggs of Louisville, KY., a daughter Symantha Thomas and husband Billy of New Salisbury, IN. Brothers: Walter Ray Ragland of Leavenworth, IN., Carl Hornback of Munfordville, KY. Sisters: Wilma J. Parks of Milltown, IN., Shirley A. Allen of Taswell, IN., Faye Edwards of Depauw, IN., Betty Lee Ragland of Munfordville, KY. Grandchildren: Crystal Scott, Devin and Dustin Carrier, Steve Allen and Steven Douglas. Great Grandchildren: Emily, Bradley, and Joseph Scott. Funeral is 2pm. on Saturday, May 7, 2011 at Swarens Funeral Home 1405 Highway 64, NW, Ramsey, IN., with burial in Central Barren Cemetery. Visitation will be 2 - 8 pm., on Friday, May 6, 2011, and after 9 am. on Saturday, May 7, 2011.
