Funeral services for Mrs. Katherine Holmes Butler, of Dublin, will be held on Sunday, July 28, 2019, at 2 PM at the Holly Spring Baptist Church, 705 Buckeye Road in East Dublin. Reverend Patrick Toney will deliver the eulogy. Burial will be in the Dudley Memorial Cemetery.

Mrs. Katherine Holmes Butler was born on January 10, 1947, to the late Lizzie Mae Hill and Albert Holmes. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Rosa Mae Aaron, Lucille Holmes, and Ruby Lee Monroe. She passed away on July 25, 2019.

Mrs. Butler leaves to cherish her memories a son, Preston (Mary) Floyd, grandchildren, Showrika (Tyrone) Bryant of Glenwood, Anatay Kyler of Dublin, Teresa (Frederick) Floyd of Dublin, Tywaskie Jones, Jeremy Floyd, Prestia Floyd, Preston Floyd, Jr., Cameron Floyd, Nikeria Floyd, Jasmine Floyd, a host of great grandchildren,a sister, Betty (Earlie) Wells, a devoted uncle, Alfonso Blackshear, a devoted friend, Ann Butler, and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and family.
