ROY – Julie Ann Call, 54, passed away Monday, August 25, 2014 at McKay Dee Hospital with her children at her side.

Julie was born February 24, 1960 in Washington D.C. to Russell and Marilyn K. Griffiths Gilbert.

During the seven years she was married to Kris Bitton she had two boys Nathan and Blake.
After which she married Danny Draper for 17 years where she had Amber, Katie, and Devin. She later married Bryan Call for six years.

She was a graduate of Stevens Henager College and a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
She loved to cook and enjoyed trying new recipes. She would often be found rocking out to Bon Jovi with the volume set as loud as it could go.

All of her children had their individual interests, and she was very supportive and attentive to all of them. She never missed a soccer, baseball or softball game, piano recital or choir concert. She supported each of her children in everything they did.

She truly loved spending time with her grandkids. She was always willing to take the time to visit and play with them. She always expressed her love for them and took the time to make memories with them.

Julie also loved being with her animals, especially her dogs, Minnie and Lucy which are also considered her children.

She also loved watching her kids figure things out for themselves and she was proud of them, even when what she watched was her electronics being taken apart and put back together, sometimes in working order.

Julie is survived by her children: Nathan (Brittany) Bitton, Blake Bitton, Amber (Jarom) Jenks, Katelyn Draper, Devin (Rachelle) Draper and 11 grandchildren. She is also survived by her parents. Russell and Marilyn Gilbert and a sister, Michelle Leishman, and brother, Jon Gilbert and her two dogs Minnie and Lucy.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Gordon and Mary Griffiths.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 30, 2014 at 11 a.m. at the Roy West Lake Ward, 2915 West 4425 South, Roy. A gathering for family and friends will be held Friday at Myers Roy Mortuary, 5865 South 1900 West from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday at the church from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. prior to services.
Interment, Malad City Cemetery at 3:45 p.m.
