Funeral services for Dr. Julian Edward Thomas, Sr., of Yazoo City, Mississippi, will be held on Tuesday, November 28, 2017, at 1:30 PM at the graveside in the Dudley Memorial Cemetery, East Mary Street in Dublin. Reverend Dr. Frederick Williams will deliver the eulogy.

Julian Edward Thomas was born on August 1, 1937, in Yazoo City, Mississippi, to the late Malvolya and Emory C. Thomas, Sr. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, June Thomas, and his brother, Emory C. Thomas, II. Mr. Thomas passed away on Thursday, November 23, 2017.

He is survived by one sister, Mary Ellen Register of Dublin, three sons, Julian Thomas, Jr., of Dublin, Jeffery (Carla) of Sumter, South Carolina, Joel Thomas of Atlanta, one daughter, Robin Jenkins of Montgomery, Alabama, grandchildren, Joel (Christy) Cook, Aurora Wilson, Koree Thomas, Kalanii Thomas, Roman Thomas, devoted nieces, Tonya (Raymond) Berry, and Malva (Dru) Watson, loving nephews, Emery and Damien Register, as well as other grand nieces, nephews, and many caring friends.

The family is receiving friends at 301 Cypress Drive in Dublin.
