Funeral services for Mrs. Julia Ashley, of Dublin, will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, December 10, 2016 at the Friendship Baptist Church, 5021 Highway 112 in Allentown. Reverend Ricky B. Stanley will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Ashley, who passed on December 6, 2016, was born on July 28, 1947, to the late McKinley Holliman, Sr. and Bessie Mae Holliman. She was preceded in death by her brothers, James L. Holliman, Sr., McKinley Holliman, Jr. and a sister, Mary L. Stuckey.

She joined Friendship Baptist Church at an early age and was a faithful member until her health failed.

Mrs. Ashley is survived by her husband, Von Ashley, Montrose; two daughters, Shirley (Ken) Glover, Warner Robins, Margo Ashley, Dublin; son, Thomas Christopher (Crystal) Ashley, Dublin; five grandchildren, Chalanda Holliman, Joshua Glover, Jonathon Glover, Tanaia Ashley, Tre' Ashley; one great grandchild, JaMarion Johns and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends at 1600 Lance Drive in Dublin and at the funeral home on Friday from 7:30 - 8:30 pm.
