Funeral services for Mrs. Juanelle Whitley Bailey, of Tampa, Florida, will be held on Sunday, May 20, 2018, at 1:30 PM at the Adrian Chapel CME Church, 320 West Pine Street, Adrian, Georgia. Interment will follow in the Adrian Memorial Cemetery.

Mrs. Bailey, affectionately called "Nelle", was born on December 14, 1938, in Adrian, Georgia, to Willie and Mamie Loyd Whitley. She was the youngest of seven children. Mrs. Bailey grew up in a christian home, and her church life began at Adrian Chapel CME Church where she was in all activities for young people. She received her formal education in Johnson County and graduated from Adrian High School. After graduation, she moved to Jacksonville, Florida, and later, to Tampa, Florida, where she met and married Charles "Chuck" Bailey. She spent many years as a military spouse in New Jersey, and she was employed by Chubb Insurance Company until her retirement. She was preceded in death by her husband, and four siblings, and her parents.

She leaves to cherish her memory one son, Kelvin Bailey, a devoted daughter-in-law, Lisa Best Bailey, grandchildren, Bryan and Camisha Bailey, and Kandice Tren, sisters, Jessie Whitley of East Orange, New Jersey, Jacquelyn Whitley of Atlanta, Georgia, and a host of nieces, cousins, extended family members and friends.
