Funeral services for Mr. Josh Antwan Tinsley, 22, of Atlanta, Georgia, will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, June 9, 2018, at the Wabash Church of God, 500 Telfair Street, in Dublin. Reverend Donald Wade will deliver the eulogy. Interment will follow in the Thankful Baptist Church Cemetery in Chester, Georgia.

Josh Antwan Tinsley was born in Dublin, Georgia, on May 15, 1996, to the parentage of Jerry Lee and Joyce Ann Tinsley. His grandparents are the late Walter James and Rosa Lee Tinsley and the late Eddie Lee Johnson and Mrs. Elizabeth Johnson.

Mr. Tinsley began his early education with the Dublin City Schools but later enrolled in the Laurens County Schools. He was a 2015 graduate of the South Atlanta Law And Social Justice School. He was goal oriented, full of ambition and dedication, and when he was not occupied with work, he enjoyed listening to music, laughing and having a great fun-filled time with his family and friends. A few years ago, his aunt, Linda, inspired him to become a model which was one of many goals he desired to accomplish. Josh had a free spirit. He lived his life to the fullest with few regrets. He was a motivating force to anyone who was in need, and he was our personal comedian. He will be missed greatly. Mr. Tinsley departed this life on May 30, 2018.

He was preceded in death by his aunts, Glenda Stuckey, Patrice Tinsley, Gloria Thorpe, and by his uncles, Johnny Lee Johnson, LeneII Edmond, Issac Jacob Tinsley, and Cecil Peacock.

He leaves behind to cherish his loving parents, Jerry Lee Tinsley and Joyce Ann Tinsley, siblings, Dominique Roberson of Columbia, South Carolina, Terron Tillman of Cochran, Georgia, Latishia Johnson of Cochran, Georgia, Jerry Tinsley of Rentz, Georgia, aunts, Lizzie (James) White, Faye (Lennox) Gravsande, Cynthia Edmond, Dr. Eyvonne (Andrew) Pooler, Carolyn Johnson, Cindy Johnson, Linda Johnson, Brenda Johnson, Carrie Peacock, Julia Tinsley, Barbara Tinsley, Betty Tinsley, Uncles, Gregory Johnson, Olin Bell, Robert Lee (Geneva) Tinsley, a devoted friend, Antonio Cunningham, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The family is receiving friends at 2065 Wingate Drive in Rentz, and on Friday, June 8, 7:30-8:30, at the Dudley Funeral Home.
