Joseph Hoy

Joseph was born to Elvira Delight (Ballard) Hoy and Joseph WILLIAM Hoy in Miami, AZ. My father, Joseph Edward "Joe" Hoy passed away just before my 57th birthday come January. I have many memories of him when he and mother (Margie) were still married. Mostly I remember his smile. We took a trip from AZ to ID and I remember waking up in my sleeping bag as did my brothers Walt, Chris and Jeff. There was so much morning fog that brought a lot of shivers but Dad made us a cup of coffee with lots of cream and sugar (I drink it the same way today.) Oh! It was so warm and delicious! Of course, there was a bit of spilling it as we sipped and shivered! Finally the fog would burn off in the morning sun and before you knew it, it was hot and oh how we couldn't wait to rush to the cold, crisp waters to cool off! It is sad to say goodbye but we are promised the resurrection and so I look forward to talking and learning so much more from him, God willing. Love from your daughter, Jenny Hoy
