Jose C. Guevara
Born in Pueblo Nuevo Guanajuato Mexico, Jose was is loving and caring father to us all. I, Luis (Lou) Cisneros Guevara, His oldest son, remember him well. Dad, with his loving wife, Juanita, had four boys and one girl. I the oldest, Evangelina (Eva) his second and the only girl, Alfonso (Al) his third, Jorge, his forth, and Antonio (Tony) his last boy. Tony left us to be with our lord in 1976. Dad has left nine(9) grandchildren four (4) grate grandchildren. From Lou there is LouAnthony how also left us in 2007, Adam, and Tristan. Eva has John Duran, Al has Alfonso Jr., Alejandra, and Dominique,
Jorge has Nathaniel and Veronica.
Born in Mexico on November 1, 1920, Dad was left without his father, Luis Guevara, at the age of 7 weeks. His father was killed in an industrial accident in Texas.
Rased by his widowed mother, Gurmecinda, and having two older brothers, Francisco and Pedro, who is the remaining member of the three brothers, Dad's life in mexico was difficult, so after he married Juanita, he migrated to the United States under the World War 2 Bracero program. He established residency here and had been here since. From a humble beginning, Jose established himself as a hard worker to raise his family. Extremely religious and devote to our Catholic faith, Jose raised a fine and well educated family. In my view, Dad is a shinning success story. Thank you Dad, and look after us from above. You Loving Son.. Luis (Lou)...
