Jonathan Lawrence Nelson, age 29, passed away on Thursday, September 27, 2018. He spent much of life in Moorefield, WV where he warmed the hearts of many with a constant smile and wonderful sense of humor, always leaving those around him laughing. He started a "Free Hug Friday" tradition in his workplace and enjoyed making sure those around him felt loved. Jonathan loved animals of all kind, but had a soft spot in his heart for cats. He was also a gifted artist who could draw or paint most anything and often used his talent to encourage and bless others.
Jonathan is survived by his mother, Linda (Bobo) George, step-father Claude George, a sister Jennifer Keller, a brother Joshua Nelson and a sister Jody Bamber as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at Mt. Storm United Methodist Church 16576 George Washington HWY, Mt. Storm, WV 26739 on October 13, 2018 at 1:00 pm

Jonathan was very loved and will be missed by many.
