Funeral Services for Mr. Johnny Elliott Knight, 71, of East Dublin will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2015 at 2 PM at the Williams Chapel Baptist Church, 1142 Georgia Highway 29 South, East Dublin. Reverend E. Neil Dixon will officiate. Burial will follow in the Dudley Memorial Cemetery, Dublin.

The life of Johnny Elliott Knight began as a seedling to the parentage of the late Wilma and Daisy Knight. He was the youngest child born to this union on January 20, 1944. Johnny was preceded in death by two of his children, Patricia Knight Turner and Derrick Hicks; his sister, Baby Ruth Thomas. He passed away on Sunday, March 15, 2015.

Left to continue the legacy of Johnny is his loving and caring companion of 21 years, Linnie Plummer Turner; his children – Tony (Erica) Horn of Helena; Jacqueline (James) Robinson, Ricky Horn of Dublin; step children – Gwendolyn (Michael) Braddy, Carl Hicks, Cedric Hicks, Warnell (Robert) Hicks-Martin and Robert Turner, Jr. of Dublin; Troy (Teresa) Hicks of Eastman; Wilma (Ernest) Henderson of Atlanta; Veronica Kelly of Pooler and Lisa (Andre) Langton of Jacksonville, Florida; his estranged wife – Barbara A. Knight; sister – Emma Bell Cross; In-laws – Robert Henderson, Palarie Miller, Roosevelt Charleston, Sr. and J. D. (Beatrice) Plummer of Dublin and Jennie Rozier of Linden, New Jersey; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The family will receive friends at the 418 Jordan Street, East Dublin.
