Services for Mr. John David "JD" Terry of 405 East Gaines Street, Dublin, will be held Wednesday, March 7, 2012, at 2 PM at the First African Baptist Church, 405 Telfair Street, Dublin, with the Rev. Keith Anderson officiating .The interment wll follow at the Dudley Memorial Cemetery. He was the son of the late Sammy Lee Terry and Eula Pearl Terry. He is preceded in death by a brother James Ivey Terry and stepfather, Robert D. Darrisaw. He died on Wednesday on February 29. Survivors include his devoted wife, Maggie Terry, one daughter, Sharonda Haynes, three stepsons, Travis Reese, Byron Reese, and Brooker Robinson, four grandchildren, Kiyla Mincey, Chirstina Clark, Byron Reese Jr., and Trevor Robinson, five sisters, Barbara Davis, Brenda Shiver, Sandra Walker, Theiese Terry, and Betty Jean Pope, five brothers, Alease (Annette) Terry, Roy (Sandra) Terry, Marvin Terry, Larry Darrisaw, and Warren (Daisy) Brown, one sister-in-law, Bernice Terry, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. Mr. Terry will be placed in the church one hour prior to services. The family will receive friends at 405 East Gaines Street. Services by Dudley Funeral Home
