Memorial services for Mr. John Hollis "Jolue" Clover, of Dublin, Georgia, will be held on Saturday, April 18, 2020, at 11 AM at the graveside in the Dudley Memorial Cemetery on East Mary Street in Dublin. Reverend Mike Moody will deliver the eulogy.

Mr. Clover was born on March 15, 1937, to the late Holifield Clover and Ceola Clover. He transitioned on March 9, 2020, after an extended illness.

He grew up in Laurens County and, at an early age, moved to Detroit, Michigan, where he resided for several years. He worked as a carpenter until his health begin to decline and, in April of 2016, he returned home.

Mr. Clover was preceded in death by his parents, Holifield and Ceola Clover; daughter, Jacqueline Clover; and by nine siblings.

He is survived by his son, Ricky Clover; daughter, Sophia Wallace; siblings, Carolyn Walker, Sandra (Johnny) Taylor all of Dublin, Larry (Barbara) Clover, Lena Lindsey all of Macon, Isaiah (Julia) Clover of Stone Mountain, Tiny Parks of Raleigh, North Carolina, Jeanette (Joe) Jones, Lillie Harlin, all of Chicago, Illinois, Blondella Church of Las Vegas, Nevada; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
