Funeral services for Mr. John Fitzgerald "Jerry" Channel, of Dublin, will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, May 14, 2016, at the New Beginning Ministries, 4504 Highway 80 West in Montrose. Bishop Henry Channell, III will officiate. Interment will follow in the Dudley Memorial Cemetery.

Mr. Channel, who passed on May 8, 2016, was born on May 10, 1964, to the late Matthew Channel, Sr. He was preceded in death by a brother, Ricky Channel; grandparents, Dessie and Jack Lewis; grandmother, Eva Lattimore; grandmother, Henry Channel, Sr.

He was a member of New Generational Beginning Ministries.

Mr. Channell is survived by his wife, Lashundra Channel; mother, Mattie (James) Hall; daughter, Kelli (Rodriquez) Kemp; grandchildren, Krayona Hicks, Gabriel Ayson, Gabriana Barnes, Rodriquez Kemp, Jr., Curtavious Kemp; three sisters, Joann (Otis) Wilcher, Debra Hicks, Debra Tyler; brothers, Matthew (Sharon) Channel, Bobby Channel, Ronnie (Centrea) Channel, Tyrone Vickers, Eddie Vickers, Greg Smith; uncles, Albert Lewis, Robert Earl (Janis) Lewis; aunts, Gloria Taylor, Evelyn Martin; god brother, Dexter Johnson and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

The family will receive friends at 220 Vine Street in Dublin.
