Joel Moss York, SC – Joel Rodney Moss, 44, of York, passed away peacefully on October 21, 2011. He is survived by his parents, Dr. James L. Moss, III and Joanne (Archer) Moss of Acton, MA, brother, Jay Moss of North Palm Beach, FL, sisters, Judi Wright of North Palm Beach, FL, Jennifer and husband Todd Shestok of Andover, MA, grandmother, Margaret Johnston Moss of Spartanburg, SC, step grandfather, Paul Totusek of Everett, WA, uncle, Mack Archer and his wife Paula of Germantown, TN, aunt, Camille Archer of Memphis, TN, uncle, Rodney Moss and wife, Janice of Spartanburg, SC, nieces, Madeleine and Emma Wright of North Palm Beach, FL. Joel attended the University of Florida, graduated from Winthrop University, and did post graduate studies at the University of South Carolina. He was a member of the Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity and was an avid Gator fan.
