Mr. Joe Houston Carreathers was born to George W. and Carrie Sims, Carreathers on October 16, 1952 in Clarksville, Texas. He united with the St. James Baptist Church at an early age. Joe was a graduate of Clarksville High School. He enlisted in the United States Navy. He married Paula Parrish Carreathers. Joe enjoyed reading the bible and discussing it among friends. He truly enjoyed spending time with his grandsons and grand-puppy. He also loved the presence of family and friends.
