Funeral services for Mr. Jimmy Eugene Washington, of Hawkinsville, will be held on Saturday, June 3, 2017, at 1 PM in the C. D. Dudley Memorial Chapel at the Dudley Funeral Home. Reverend Greg Washington will deliver the eulogy.

Mr. Washington who passed on May 22, 2017, was born on June 3, 1946 to the late Henry and Lola Mae Washington. He was the youngest of three children.

Mr. Washington graduated from Millville High School. After graduation he enlisted in the United States Army. He worked at Federal Express and Waste Management. Later he became an over the road truck driver for ASAP Trucking Company. He enjoyed fishing and traveling.

Mr. Washington was preceded in death by his wife, Delores Washington and loving companion, Berdina English. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Milton Smith; one son, Jimmy Washington, Jr.; daughter, Andrea Brown; and by a grandmother, Queen Washington.

Mr. Washington is survived by one brother, James (Shirley) Washington; children, Kenneth (Penny) Washington, Leo Washington, Tanya (Paul) Washington, Barbara (DeWayne) Allen, James (Sabrina) English and Evelyn (Cornelius) English; siblings, Earnestine Willis, Lucille Jones, twenty-six grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren.

The family is receiving friends at 701 Brookdale Drive in Dublin, and at the Dudley Funeral Home on Saturday, 12-1 PM.
